Weekly Budget control and review

Lead and supervise audits and investigations, and ensure that laid down internal and external control measures are strictly adhered to detects and correct noticeable flaws in the internal control system.
Qualification/Experience: Candidate must:
Have good first degree in Accounting; a Master degree would be an advantage.
Possess professional qualification in Accounting or banking, ICAN, ACCA, ACIB or its equivalent.
Be between the ages of 30-40 years
Have a minimum of 10 years auditing experience out of which 5 should be at managerial level
An exceptional track record in a similar position is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Regularly improve internal controls to prevent frauds and losses.
Assist head of units in the development of internal controls for new products and improve existing controls.
Make recommendation for the improvement of the bank’s internal control
Prevent frauds by increasing the frequency that potential fraud areas are reviewed
Ensure the bank complies with the external regulations.
Ensure that the bank has adequate cost effective and well documented internal controls, financial records and accurate management functions
Prepare audit budgets/audits areas and audit team schedules and work plan for assignments.
Evaluate operation procedures and ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control
Review new changing and accounting systems and procedures to ensure that internal safe guides are built in conduct special audit type investigation
Provide assistance for external audit examinations and co-ordinate internal and external audit efforts.
